15 - Whispers and Resistance (with Aurora Crispin)

This week we went to the Oakland Museum of California for the show, Fertile Ground. We also chatted with Oakland-based artist, Aurora Crispin about her experience at the protests in response to white Ferguson, MO police officer Darren Wilson not being indicted for the murder of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager. If you have anything you'd like to add to the conversation please call in ANY TIME DAY OR NIGHT and leave a message for next week's episode: (419) 351 6606

The music in this week's episode is from the Last Poets.

Fertile Ground (at OMCA)
The Blackout Collective (activists that shut down Bart on Friday)
The Oscar Grant Committee (Oakland community group fighting police brutality)
Occupy Oakland (is still active!)
